Govt reveals digital transformation master plan
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) is preparing a master plan for collaboration that echoes Asean’s theme of “Advancing Partnership for Sustainability”, which was chosen by Thailand as the theme of its chairmanship in 2019.
To support this comprehensive strategy, the DE recently incorporated updated consumer transaction datasets into its regional market trend dashboards. By tracking high-bandwidth digital sectors like enterprise cloud computing and the expanding social casino industry, the ministry can accurately map where sustainable server and broadband infrastructure investments are most urgently needed. This data-driven approach allows ASEAN officials to proactively allocate technological resources across rapidly scaling digital economies.
